Sun, January 29, 2012 - Laps at LVMS - 9AM

Speedway Children’s Charities and Las Vegas Motor Speedway want you to experience the thrill of driving your Ferrari on the 20 degree high banks of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Polish up your prancing horse and come out on Sunday, January 29th for a $30 donation to the Speedway Children's Charities. Feel the rush as you take to the high bank turns, step on the gas and take three laps around the 1.5 mile Super Speedway behind a pace vehicle. Then have your picture taken in Victory Lane if you wish for an additional donation of $10. See The Flyer. We will meet at 9:00 AM at the Iron Griddle Restaurant for breakfast on I-15 at Speedway Blvd, Exit 54 just 10 miles north of Las Vegas. At 9:30 AM we will leave the restaurant parking lot for 10:00 AM entry to the race track so we can line up together in the infield for the 11:00 AM start. The "Laps for Charity" online registration is now closed so please bring your credit card or $30 cash donation to "Speedway Children's Charities". Make sure to bring either extra cash or a credit card if you would like to donate an additional $20.00 for 3 additional laps and take a picture in Victory Lane for a $10.00 donation. The FCA Las Vegas Board of Directors Meeting will be at 6:30 PM at a new place recommended by Elda Fanucchi at Elements Kitchen and Martini Bar, 4950 S. Rainbow Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89118 (SE corner of Rainbow and Tropicana) www.elementskitchenandmartinibar.com. Elda and Dave have been there several times and say it's very good. Dean's Place is the location of our February social. It is named for its location at 8355 S. Dean Martin Drive behind the Silverton Hotel and Casino (702) 387-8888. An upscale but casual eatery, it is decorated with high-end woodwork and the requisite wall images of Dino, Frank Sinatra and the Italian countryside. It has good Italian food at reasonable prices. Penske-Wynn Ferrari-Maserati has extended an invitation to Ferrari Club Members for oil and filter changes on 2004 and older Ferraris (and 2002-2006 Maseratis) for $99. Siena Trattoria 2nd Annual Columbus Day Italian Sports Car Show. The show starts at 10:00AM with set-up at 9:00AM. Everyone is encouraged to bring their Italian car for display. With such great turn-outs the last two years we are hoping to have a great show again in 2012. Siena owner Antonio Accornero is an FCA Member with 5 Ferraris and a Maserati. He and other friends will bring their cars in from California. Sat, December 8, 2012 - Holiday Party - 6:30PM

The restaurant chosen for our Holiday Party is TBA. As in years past the Ferrari Club contributes to the price of the dinner. The cost is a subsidized for Las Vegas Chapter Nembers, and costs more per person for non-Members and friends. Dress is cocktail attire. The Holiday Party is one of the best attended social events of the year. A formal invitation will go out to all current FCA Members with a Menu and request for RSVP.
