The Veloce Vegas Run (formerly referred to as Jeffrey's Paupers Run) is being organized this year by Eric "3forty8" of our friends at Ferrari Chat. Fellow Vegas F-chatters are welcome to meet up with them during their stay to join in the festivities. Eric says he is "putting together an informal run to Vegas in the same spirit - anybody is welcome to join in and participate in whatever activities they choose. No fees, just pay for your own hotel/activities. Simple. The only mandatory item on the agenda is to have fun". The following activities do not require reservations:

• Thursday - 7pm Dinner at LeVillage Buffet at Paris
• Friday - 8am Drive from Paris garage to Echo Bay Lunch & Valley of Fire
• Friday - 9:30pm Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club (3025 Industrial Dr between Sahara & Desert Inn)
• Saturday - 8am Drive from Paris garage to Lake Mead & back
• Saturday - 11:30am Lunch at Bahama Breeze (Flamingo & Paradise)
• Saturday - 1:30pm Hoover Dam Drive & Tour
• Sunday - Depart for home at your leisure

Sat, May 17, 2008 - North Las Vegas Car Show

The City of North Las Vegas has invited us to enter our "classic cars" at 8:00AM in the auto show portion of their "Taste & Tunes Festival" on Saturday May 17th at North Las Vegas City Hall Campus, 2200 Civic Center Blvd. Entry is $20, and you must send a photo along with your entry. Cars must arrive no later than 9:30AM and stay until 6:30PM. Participants get a t-shirt, $5 food voucher, dash plaque and carnival pass. Please print and mail the Entry Form.

Sunday - May 25 - 11:00AM - Monte Carlo F1

The Monaco Grand Prix is held on the streets of Monte Carlo. Meet us for brunch to see it live. The Big Inning Sports Pub at 7777 W Sahara Avenue on the SE corner of Buffalo (702) 255-8708 has good food & drinks, protected parking for your car, big screen TVs and a casual atmosphere. This race was won last year by Fernando Alonso.

Sun - May 25 - Birthday Bash Car Show - 8AM

Car Show on the Grass at Eldorado Park - Join us for this car show on the grass that we attend every year at Eldorado Park in North Las Vegas, 5900 Camino Eldorado, North Las Vegas, NV 89031. Meet at 8:00AM at the Cannery Hotel & Casino, 2121 East Craig Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89030 (just west of I-15 Exit 48) so we can drive up to the show together (or you can meet us there). Food and drinks are available, but you can also tailgate at our Ferrari tent. Paul Charron of Picarsso Auto Spa 702-468-3938 will attend the show and will offer special advice on auto detailing for club members that attend the show and would like to get their car detailed there. Sun, June 1 - Tacopa Hot Springs Resort - 10AM

Tacopa Hot Springs Resort is located only an hour or so away at Tecopa Hot Springs Rd, Tecopa, CA 92389. Dave Wechsler at 702-303-5626 is a friend of Reed Radosovich. Dave owns the Tacopa Hot Springs Resort which is a turnoff on the way to Pahrump. Dave's partner is Amy Noel at 760-852-4420 who says, "We look forward to hosting your group to our wonderful and peaceful place." Dave says we will love the drive along the Old Spanish Highway from 160 to Tecopa, "The Restaurant is gourmet and the Hot Springs water is Great." Bring your swimsuit if you wish to party with us in the hot springs. Meet at 10:00AM at the last gas station on the way to Pahrump on the corner of Blue Diamond (Hwy 160) and Charleston extension through Red Rock (Hwy 159). We will drive about 25 miles towards Pahrump, and turn left at Tecopa Rd. There is a little green sign that points left to "Tecopa". There is nothing else at that intersection except a little orange trailer that is sometimes parked on the corner selling beef jerky. As we enter California along that road it becomes Old Spanish Trail Hwy. Tacopa Hot Springs Resort is located 35 just miles down that road on the right. Wednesday - June 25 - 6-8PM - Foundation Room

The Ferrari Club of America’s 2008 Annual Meet will be truly international, taking us to Toronto, Niagara and Mosport International Raceway for an elegant and exciting celebration.
